How long have you lived in Watford?
I have lived in Watford for over 15 years and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!
What do you love most about living in Watford?
One of my favourite things about Watford is that it’s a vibrant town and there’s always something going on. There’s lots of events and activities happening in and around the town and as I love food and socialising with friends, I particularly enjoy the wide variety of restaurants available on my doorstep.
What’s your favourite thing about working for Mayfield Villages?
My favourite thing about working for Mayfield Villages is knowing I’m helping to enhance people’s lives so they can enjoy their retirement. Since joining Mayfield Watford I have really enjoyed getting to know our owners and hearing their stories, I’m already looking forward to the next owner’s meet-up event.
What question do you get asked the most?
One of the questions I am asked the most is “can my family and friends visit?”. Absolutely! Living at a Mayfield retirement village allows you to live independently in a friendly community and with the benefit of knowing you are in a safe and secure environment. We encourage visitors, and the guest suites mean that those who have friends and family who live further away can come and stay.
What are you most looking forward to when Mayfield Watford opens?
I can’t wait for our owners to start moving in and enjoying all the facilities available to them. We’ve already had a few owners discuss what clubs they would like to set up and run within the village hall space.
