
As we welcome the festive season, we share our top 5 Christmas cocktails for you to enjoy, including a non-alcoholic version of a festive favourite.

1. Sloe Gin Fizz
A light and refreshing cocktail, and perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
- 50ml sloe gin
- 25ml lemon juice
- 2 tsp sugar syrup
- Sparkling water to top up
- Ice as required
- Lemon slice for decoration
2. Kir Royale
Originating in Burgundy in the 1940s, this French cocktail has a delicious berry taste.
Ingredients:
- 15ml Crème de Cassis
- Champagne
- Blackberry to garnish

3. Mulled “Wine” Mocktail
A twist on the festive favourite, this mulled “wine” mocktail is a delicious alternative for those wanting a fruity drink without the alcohol. Simmer the ingredients in a large saucepan for 10 minutes, then sieve the mixture into a large jug for serving.
- 2 litres red grape juice
- Zest from 1 orange
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks, plus extra to serve
- 12 cloves
- 3 fresh bay leaves, plus extra to serve
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme, plus extra to serve

4. Black Velvet
This cocktail is a two-ingredient mixed beer drink. This unlikely combination has been around since the 1800’s. The crispness of the Champagne cuts through the Guinness, creating a creamy enjoyable drink.
Ingredients:
- 75ml Champagne
- 75ml Guinness

5. Old Cuban
This versatile drink can be described as a sophisticated and upscaled classic mojito. The flavours complement each other well and this drink is enjoyable all year.
Ingredients:
- 6 mint leaves - gently muddle at the bottom of the glass
- 35ml dark rum
- 20ml fresh lime juice
- 1-2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Champagne
- Mint leaf for decoration
